BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL

As a COVID-safe venue, bookings are essential to ensure restrictions on guest numbers are met. No walk-ins will be admitted at this time. Guests are required to provide contact details as required for potential contact tracing by relevant government authorities.

CANCELLATION AND CHANGE OF DATE POLICY 

A minimum of 7 days' notice is required to change the date of your function, or cancel your booking.

CANCELLATION FEES

Cancellations made between 2 and 6 days from the date of your function will incur a fee of 50% of the balance outstanding.

Cancellation made within 24 hours from the booked date of your function, or failure to show up at the time reserved for your high tea,  will incur a fee of 100% of the balance outstanding.

Cancellation fees will be charged to the nominated credit card.

FINAL GUEST NUMBERS AND DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

For bookings of 10 or more guests, our restaurant manager will contact you in the week of your booked event to confirm final guest numbers and any dietary requirements. Vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free high tea alternative is available with advance notice only. Please note we require at least 48 hours’ notice for dietary requirements.

It is your responsibility to advise of any subsequent changes to guest numbers, no later than 24 hours before the date of the booking – this must be done by phoning the restaurant directly on 5533 9889 or by email .

Guest numbers must be finalised at least 24 hours before the date of the booking, and no further changes can be made after this time. 

If a guest is unable to attend on the day of the event, we can offer their high tea packaged as takeaway.  Please note: the full cost of high tea for all confirmed guests is payable even if one or more guests do not attend on the day.

PAYMENT

Payment in full is made on the day of the event - we have EFTPOS and accept credit card payments (Visa or Mastercard) . Please note, as we are a COVID-safe venue contactless payment only will be accepted, ie. no cash payments. 

We are unable to accept individual payments; one payment per group please.

MINIMUM ATTENDEES FOR EXCLUSIVE USE OF PRIVATE FUNCTION SPACES

Garden Courtyard - minimum attendees for exclusive use:  20

Covered Patio - minimum attendees for exclusive use: 10

Please note: if numbers fall below the minimum for exclusive use and your group would still like exclusive access, a $200 venue hire fee may apply.

Should the number of attendees fall below the minimum for each exclusive use area, and the venue hire fee is not charged, we reserve the right to allocate the group to a more appropriate area, or allow other bookings to share the area.

ALLOCATED TIME FOR PRIVATE AREAS

Seating time for high tea or lunch functions is 2 hours, or 1 hour for morning/afternoon tea. We ask that your guests arrive promptly at the allocated start time. High tea will be served within the first half hour whether or not all guests have arrived.

15 minutes before the end of your allocated booking time, our staff will clear the table. We ask that your party leaves promptly at the conclusion of your booked time.

STANDARD INCLUSIONS

Traditional high tea includes one beverage of choice. Additional drink orders will be added to the final account.

Your high tea setting (private areas) includes long table with white lace tablecloths, white Tiffany chairs, and small flower arrangement in teapot for the table.

You may select a colour way for the table setting of eclectic fine china teacups and coordinated silk beaded glass covers.

We can provide an additional table upon request for gifts, cake, etc.

DECORATIONS

Guests are welcome to bring additional decorations to add personal their event. Strictly NO CONFETTI, including confetti-filled balloons, confetti-filled canons, or any form of scattered, loose table glitters.

Please note that we require space in the middle of our tables for the delivery of the high tea stands.

You can arrive 15-30 min prior to the booked time should you wish to set up any decorations (please check with staff regarding turnover time between bookings).
